Al Andres...nice guy to all the girls at Kennedy. Looked good in his suits and was a great dancer too. I remember him mostly in a football uniform or a suit on free dress days and how he would always make a wise crack to me everytime I saw him in the halls.

Al was a great friend. Went all through St. Edwards with him. A real football nut. I lost touch with him over the years and was sad and shocked when I learned of his passing.

Check out the Guest Book entries for Al Andres, especially the one from his wife...quite touching and insightful. The story she tells about his 2 1/2 year old and the "fish funeral" they had just prior to Al's death is...well, you'll see.

Seattle Times Guest Book.
